The best time to hit the trails is from early June to mid-October, when the mountain routes are generally accessible and Svaneti is at its best.

Forget the crowds and walk straight into the heart of Svaneti. From the wild valleys of Mazeri to the remote villages of Ushguli, this is a proper mountain adventure — high passes, glaciers, ancient Svan towers and a lot of time on the trail.
No sightseeing from a bus window. You walk it, sleep in it, eat it and live it.

Georgia is not just Tbilisi and a few pretty churches.
This trip takes you from the streets of the capital into the high Caucasus, through mountain valleys, old fortresses, forests and remote Svan villages. We’ll drive some spectacular roads, walk some proper trails, eat very well and finish the journey deep in Svaneti.
It’s an active trip, but you don’t need to be a hardcore trekker. Think short hikes, mountain walks, big views and plenty of time to actually enjoy the places we visit.
